I only had three weeks to study for the patent bar exam and was able to pass the exam studying solely from this guide. I was a patent agent for a year, which also helped but this guide contains an extremely large amount of excellent material. After checkout, you receive an email with the PDF guide, which you can print out and work your way through. The product also comes with 12 complete previous patent bar exams with answers. Going through these questions is extremely helpful, especially if you read the answers and understand *why* a particular answer is correct. Product also has a good list of repeat questions and recently tested topics, which is why I bought the guide. Overall, a great value with tons of actual questions, which in my opinion is the best way to study. Oh ya, I passed the exam on my first try!

I also bought their companion product called the Ultimate Patent Bar Study Guide. There is no need to buy both. The are essentially the same product. Both come with access to the prior questions database and both contain roughly the same material. That being said, both products provide an extremely large amount of sample questions. For example, while the PTO has only 3 previous exams available on its website, this guide contans the last 10 exams. In addition, the guide also contains a list of which questions are repeated on the exam, as well topics that have recently been tested by the PTO. If you work your way through the guide, do all the repeat questions, and are a decent searcher, you should be able to pass the exam. Overall a good deal. It does take about 24 hours before you receive the email with instructions on how to access guide and examination database. The guide comes in PDF format that allows printing and searching.

Great guide that contains tons of questions. What I liked about this guide is that in addition to providing tons of sample questions, it also tells you which ones are repeated on current administrations of the exam and also provides detailed answers. This saves you a lot of time because you only need to go through the repeat questions instead of all of them, which would take too long. In addition, it has a list of recently tested topics, which for me was very accurate to what I saw on the actual exam. Overall, a great value and as far as I know, the only guide that provides actual questions that will appear on your exam. If you already have a basic understanding of patent law and prosecution, going through the hundreds of samples questions should be enough for you to pass the exam, if you know how to search effectively. The guide is also updated frequently, which can be a pain because it is hard to tell what exactly was changed. The most recent version, however, has a more thorough introduction, which was one thing I thought was lacking with the guide, so the actual guide portion is improving. Overall, well worth the money.
